Affording Los Encinos School
We understand that for many families the cost of an independent school education may be more than what their family budget can accommodate. The Los Encinos School Tuition Assistance Program strives to make sure that if a child and family are a good match for the school, then finances should not prevent that child from attending.
As a school that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, Los Encinos uses the Tuition Assistance Program to ensure that we are a socio-economically diverse community. Currently, 30% of our students receive tuition assistance. Tuition Assistance awards are confidential and are determined by the Tuition Assistance Committee. Applying for assistance does not guarantee an award as decisions are based on need, availability of funds, and the number of qualified applicants.
In an effort to help families determine if they might qualify for Tuition Assistance, we share the graphic showing the range of Tuition Assistance grants that have been given across household income levels. Tuition Assistance grants are need-based and are determined by a variety of factors as collected during the tuition assistance application process (via the FAST system). The application for tuition assistance is separate from the admissions process, and the application has its own unique deadlines. If you have questions about tuition assistance, please contact Nicole Pennington in the business office at: npennington@LosEncinosSchool.org.
