Calling In: How do we build community around our anti-bias work?
Following up on the Critical Conversations series with Dr. Loretta Ross, we plan to continue the dialogue about how to authentically address bias and injustice AND to build on Dr. Martin Luther King’s notion of a “beloved community,” a space of social equity and belonging, peace, and freedom from prejudice.
Join us for a discussion with educators who will be sharing their experiences calling people into – and being called into – conversations to make our schools more equitable. They will share examples, feelings, and strategies for creating the kind of school we want our children to thrive in.
Participants will also have the opportunity to reflect on what they can do to support each other and to model anti-bias practices for their children.
