Many people have asked how best we might be able to help the situation in the Middle East. A unique opportunity has come up. The Shores, an alumni family (Jesse ’09, Sydney ’11, Rory), have a nephew in a group called United Hatzalah, a civilian medical emergency services organization headquartered in Israel and serving areas around the world. Daniel Shore is an ICU nurse in Jerusalem who volunteers as a paramedic for the organization. Hatzalah is Hebrew for “rescue.”

Supplies are being depleted. United Hatzalah is a unique organization, treating anyone in need regardless of religion, ethnicity, or nationality. They sent teams to Haiti multiple times, Nepal after the earthquake in 2015, and they even assisted in search-and-rescue operations in Turkey following the 2023 Turkey-Syria earthquake.

The Shore Family has set up a matching campaign so every dollar we give is automatically doubled up to $100,000. Click the image above or the following link to make a donation. The campaign is set to run for 15 more days. Here’s the link: https://israelrescue.org/mymitzvah/shore-family-emergency-israel-matching-campaign/
