Los Encinos School
Annual Report
You in the Natural World 2021-2022
From the Desk of
Ilene Reinfeld
I am excited to share this 2021-2022 annual report. Last year was truly one that reflected our school-wide theme, the natural world. From the dramatic vistas and breath-taking gorges formed by earthquakes and erosion in the Malibu Creek State Park that we were privileged to witness on our family hike in April, to an invisible virus that has continued to keep us on our toes, we persevered with strength and dignity. The challenges we faced, however, were easily outpaced by the number of successes we were able to claim, and I have a theory as to why that was possible.

Parent Association Review
The cliche, “You get out of it what you put into it,” is absolutely true when it comes to the LES parent community.

Spring Gala: Sailing Through the Years
After being confined to Zoom boxes during the last two years of LES Galas, in the spring of 2022, we were finally able to celebrate Los Encinos the way it was meant to be celebrated, IN-PERSON!
Revenue & Expenses
Meeting the needs of the Los Encinos School community remained the focus of the Administration, Faculty, Staff, and Board of Trustees during the 2021-2022 school year.

Congratulations to the Class of 2022!
