Humanities Portfolio Goes Digital!

Miss K has been hard at work transforming the wonderful work being done across each specialist program into a digital portfolio and it is now available online. The project was built out of a desire to showcase the incredible integration that takes place in the arts & humanities disciplines at Los Encinos School as they are approached by each grade level. A link to the new portfolio is posted under the Curriculum menu or click here to access Our Humanities directly. Feel free to email Miss Valerie and Miss K with your comments!

CAIS Publishes Statement on School Safety

In light of the recent incidents of school violence, the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) took out ads in both the L.A. Times and San Francisco Chronicle on March 11, 2018, publishing statements of support for stronger gun control and increased safety in schools. It was signed by more than 150 heads of independent schools throughout the state, including our own Ilene Reinfeld of Los Encinos School. To read the ad, click the thumbnail image below. If you have any questions, feel free to email ireinfenfeld@losencinosschool.org.
