After you graduated from LES, where did you go?

After I graduated from LES in 2021, I went on to Chaminade Middle School and then continued on to Chaminade High School.

2. In what ways do you think your experience at LES prepared you for middle school and beyond?

LES prepared me in so many ways… At LES, I learned the importance of being flexible, how to problem solve, and how to always do my best.

3. Do you have any siblings? Did they go to LES?

Yes, I have a younger sister named Emma who is currently a 6th grader at LES. (Ed. Note: Emma’s a soon-to-be alum, Class of 2026!)

4. When you think of LES today, what are your strongest memories or favorite traditions?

I remember all the fun and amazing trips we took together, as well as learning something new every day in such a supportive and close-knit community. My favorite traditions are the buddy program, the Halloween carnival, and Sports Day.

5. Do you remember your ‘buddies’?

My two buddies were Harper in 1st (when I was in 5th), and Noah in K (when I was in 6th).

Ed. Note: Watch Brandon and Noah’s advice to each other in the “Buddy Advice” video at the 2:25 mark: losencinosschool.org/buddy-videos-2021
password: buddy!

6. Describe what it’s like to be on a high school football team.

I currently play offensive and defensive line for the Chaminade High Eagles. It’s so much fun playing with my teammates and making lifelong memories and friendships. Getting to travel to different places to play a game that I love is one of the best experiences. A typical week during football season includes going to school Monday through Wednesday, followed by a four hour practice each day. On Thursdays, we have school and then a walkthrough for the game. Friday is the best day…Game Day! Saturdays are film days, where we review the previous night’s game and focus on what we can improve. During the offseason, we typically practice four hours a day, three to five days a week.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://losencinosschool.org/alumni-page/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/photo-team-chaminade-eagles.jpg” alt=”Chaminade Eagles Football – Team Photo” title_text=”Chaminade Eagles Football – Team Photo” show_in_lightbox=”on” _builder_version=”4.11.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.11.3″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Georgia||||||||” text_font_size=”15px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

(above) The Chaminade football team photo. I think it would have been cool to have a football team at LES, but it’s definitely not necessary to have a great experience.

8. Would it surprise you to learn that in kindergarten you wanted to be a police officer? Is that still a possibility?

It does surprise me that I once wanted to be a police officer. What advice would you give to your kindergarten self?

The advice I would give my kindergarten self is to take your time, have fun, and make memories, because you don’t realize how much you’ll miss LES until you leave.

10. Any specific memories of how an LES teacher impacted your life?

All of my teachers had a huge impact on my experience at LES. One teacher who really stands out is Mr. Myers (5th grade) because of how energetic and fun he is, which made learning exciting.

11. Due to Covid, you were on Zoom for half of 5th grade and the beginning of 6th. What do you recall about that time?

Being at home on Zoom was definitely an interesting experience, one I’d say I’m glad is over. At first, it was kind of nice to be at home and work at our own pace, but after a while, it lost its novelty. Being back in school in person with my friends is so much better. I was very grateful to be with my class for 6th grade even though we had to be masked and had to keep our distance.

12. Final question: What do you do in your free time for fun? Any hobbies?

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, working on cars, spending time with my family, and hanging out with friends.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.11.3″ text_font=”Georgia||||||||” text_font_size=”15px” saved_tabs=”all” global_colors_info=”{}”]

(below) Watch the Zoom-themed Haunted House that Brandon’s sixth-grade Class of 2021 made when Halloween needed to be reimagined during Covid.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_video src=”https://vimeo.com/473140088?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci” _builder_version=”4.11.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_video][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_4″ _builder_version=”3.25″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_image src=”https://losencinosschool.org/alumni-page/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/photo-brandon-headshot-1.jpg” alt=”Brandon Fritz headshot” title_text=”Brandon Fritz headshot” show_in_lightbox=”on” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.11.3″ global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.11.3″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Georgia||||||||” text_font_size=”15px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

(above) Brandon today and in kindergarten (below).

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://losencinosschool.org/alumni-page/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/photo-brandon-headshot-kindergarten.jpg” alt=”Brandon in kindergarten 2014-2015″ title_text=”Screenshot” show_in_lightbox=”on” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.11.3″ global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_image src=”https://losencinosschool.org/alumni-page/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/photo-brandon-emma.jpg” alt=”Brandon ’21 and Emma ’26” title_text=”Brandon ’21 and Emma ’26” show_in_lightbox=”on” align_tablet=”center” align_phone=”” align_last_edited=”on|desktop” _builder_version=”4.11.3″ global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.11.3″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Georgia||||||||” text_font_size=”15px” global_colors_info=”{}”]

(above) Brandon and his sister, Emma.
