Oh, what are "Eagle Days," you ask? For a full week (once in the fall and another in the spring), students in 1st through 6th grades get to choose two electives (one for a morning class and the other for the afternoon) that allow them to work in multi-grade environments on passion projects! Look who came back (now @oakwoodstories) to help out with "Eagle Days," a week of elective curriculum we just implemented that we'll hold twice each year, in the fall and spring. Students choose a morning session and afternoon session to work in areas of study not normally available, such as, Woodworking, Cooking, Graphic Design, Newspaper Writing, Sewing, Fitness, Circuitry, Comic Book Writing, Wilderness Survival, and lots more. #les_eagledays #les_classof2023

She also got to connect with her old kindergarten buddy who is now a third-grader! (Fun Fact: She told us that she remembers being the very first sixth-grader to co-host an assembly, a tradition we started a few years ago. Checking the archives, we found out her memory is correct!
