This year’s Annual Los Encinos Fundraiser was a tremendous success thanks to the incredible support and efforts of our fabulous community!  Our “Los Encinos Tennis Club” themed party drew an over-capacity crowd, which included parents, grandparents and special friends, faculty members, staff, administration, and alumni families! The Mulholland Tennis Club was the perfect venue to take us back to an 80’s Tennis Club vibe. In fact, many of our own LES community members spent their youth hanging at the pool and on the courts of this local establishment! 

We kicked the night off with a lively Cocktail Hour and a successful Silent Auction which included fantastic green screen photos of our children as tennis stars, thanks to the photo committee: Jessica Falcone, Leigh McGowan, Sean McGowen, and Betsy Tipton. The auction raised over $50,000!

The celebration continued as we enjoyed a sit-down dinner and celebrated our kids with the “Walk the Talk” video that asked all of us how we see the virtues & values list being exemplified every day in school. The video reminded us, as always, just how special Los Encinos is and why we all love our precious school and close-knit community. After dinner our fundraising efforts continued with our Live Auction, this year hosted with wit and charm by two of our very own LES Parents – Samantha and Michael Hess.  The bidding wars were friendly and successful as our community once again stepped it up to make this year’s Live Auction a tremendous success! 

The evening continued to rock as we danced the night away to hits from the 80’s spun by our DJ, Ray Lopez, took some outrageous pictures in the SmileBooth, and enjoyed making Frisbee spin art!  Eventually the night had to end, but the memories of this special night will last forever.

Thanks to your generosity, The Los Encinos Tennis Club Fundraiser raised over $169,000, which makes this year’s event a major contributor to our school’s overall fundraising efforts. We could not have accomplished this without the love, commitment, passion, dedication, support and generosity of our parents, staff, faculty and alumni.

Special thank yous go out to Ilene and The Board of Trustees for supporting our fundraising vision, the Parent Association Board for allowing us to execute this fundraising vision, the Fundraiser Committee for your endless hours of devotion to making The Los Encinos Tennis Club Fundraiser such a rockin’ event, and current families and alumni that keep the spirit of our school alive! We may be small in size but we are enormous at heart!
