....Welcome to Los Encinos School's website! At Los Encinos, we create a dynamic learning environment that contributes to the prosperity and celebration of children.

Our school community cultivates the development of self-esteem and mutual respect. The Los Encinos faculty and staff fully integrate our humanities theme by relating art, drama, music, physical education, service learning, and technology lessons to topics in and outside the classroom. We are a community that embraces and celebrates the liveliness of diversity, uniqueness, and the pursuit of academic excellence.

Faculty

Our faculty consists of classroom teachers, specialty teachers and assistant teachers. The kindergarten and first grade classes are staffed with two teachers, while the other classes are staffed with a teacher and full-time assistant teacher. All classroom teachers are credentialed and many hold advanced degrees. Members of both the faculty and administration participate in regular professional development through conferences, workshops, and in-service training.

We are united by a life-long dedication to learning and a true love and respect for children. We share the belief in the value of a solid academic preparation, sound moral and ethical principals, and each child’s ability to succeed.

I feel fortunate to call these professionals my colleagues. Together, we focus on a great variety of issues and tasks all connected to making a difference in lives of children. I find it rewarding to help shape the future of Los Encinos School and its students.
